What Punjabis Are Required To Do?

 Punjabi people are feeling annoyed with Sindhis, Urdu Speaking Muhajirs, Balochis and Pukhtoons due to their habit of abusing, blaming, criticizing, defaming, loathing and victimizing Punjabis and Punjabi nation, without explaining facts and figures, by creating false stories, just to blackmail Punjabi people, pressurize Punjabi nation and destabilizing Punjab.

 In 1901 Nara Canal and in 1932 Sukkur Barrage lands were allotted to Punjabi settlers in Rural Sindh aiming to increase CULTIVATING area of Sindh. Punjabi’s did the task with manual labour, as machinery was not available at that time.

 With the passage of time; those Punjabis were assimilated in Sindh by adopting Sindhi language, culture and traditions but in 1970’s, at time of 1st PPP government under the leadership of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Sindhi’s forced the settlers to leave the Sindh by handing over the cultivated lands to Sindhi’s.

 Majority of Punjabi landholder and well-established settlers considered it feasible to migrate to Hyderabad, Karachi and Abroad or Back to Punjab.

 Remaining Punjabi settlers in Sindh are stacked people due to many reasons, they were not able to migrate, anyhow with low profile social and business lifestyle and under harassment, they are living in Sindh.

 At the creation of Pakistan Lahore was the biggest city and Karachi was a small port town however, by declaring Karachi as the capital of Pakistan how much revenue was spent to make it a bigger port, industrial, business, educational, residential and commercial city of Pakistan?

 Punjab not only sacrificed financially but Punjabi’s took the major intellectual, physical, economical and financial participation to make the port city Karachi an economical and financial hub of Pakistan, but from 1986 Muhajir's started to force the Punjabi’s to leave Karachi. The majority of established industrial, business and trade sector Punjabi considered it feasible to migrate abroad or back to Punjab.

 Remaining Punjabi’s in Karachi are stacked people due to many reasons they were not able to migrate, anyhow with low profile social and business lifestyle and under harassment, they are living in Karachi.

 Hence, neither rural Sindh nor Karachi is feasible for a future time or talent investment of Punjabi’s, same position is in Baluchistan. Punjab is receiving dead bodies of Punjabis from Balochistan with migration of Punjabis from Balochistan.

 On other hand, day by day, North area of Punjab is on the way of infiltration and invasion by the Pathans, Central area of Punjab is under domination of Urdu and on the way of infiltration and invasion by the Urdu Speaking Muhajirs and South area of Punjab is on the way of infiltration and invasion by the Balochis with conspiracy of Saraiki stunt.

 Saraiki stunt is a proxy politics of Sind based Sindhi political party PPP; it is motivated by the MQM which is a fascist and terrorist organization of Muhajirs under cover of a political party, it is exploited by the Urdu media which is dominated by the illegal refugees from UP, CP India, it is sponsored by Pathans and Balochis, purpose is to divide Punjab and Pujabi nation in fragments by creating dialects confusion and dispute to rule Punjab and Punjabi nation.

What is the Major Problem of Punjabi People?

Maharaja Ranjeet Singh made Lahore his capital and was able to expand the kingdom to the Khyber Pass and also included Jammu and Kashmir, while keeping the British from expanding across the River Sutlej for more than 40 years.

After his death in 1839 the internecine fighting between the Sikhs and several rapid forfeitures of territory by his sons, along with the intrigues of the Dogras and two Anglo-Sikh wars, eventually led to British control of the Lahore Darbar ten years later.

For the British, Punjab was a frontier province, because Punjab had boundaries with Afghanistan and Persia. Therefore, the Punjabis, unlike the Bengalis and the Sindhis, were not allowed to use their mother language as an official language due to a fear of Punjabi nationalism therefore, the British first introduced the Urdu as an official language in Punjab, including Lahore, allegedly.

After an era of Ranjeet Singh, during the rule of the British Empire in Punjab, British rulers imposed martial law in Punjab. To govern Punjab, they brought Urdu-speaking Muslim and Hindi-speaking Hindu bureaucracy and establishment from UP, as a result Punjabi became a socially and politically depressed and deprived nation due to the hegemony of Urdu and Hindi language, Gunga Jumna culture. It resulted supremacy of UP-ites and UP-ite mindsets in policy making and decision taking in national affairs and foreign relationship, managed, motivated and sponsored by the British rulers to eliminate the Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and Christian Punjabi’s into different religions and languages to secure their rule over last captured land and martial race of India.

 However, during British rule in India, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Christian Punjabi’s were still a nation because of common land, language, culture and traditions. The religion was a personal subject, although, religious dissimilarity was a natural reality. However, clans moreover, communities were the institutions for social interaction and charity work. Punjab was a secular regime and Punjabi was a respectable and honorable language, culture and nation in India.

In 19th century due to politics of congress, dominated by Hindu and Hindi speaking leaders, Hindu Punjabi started preferring Hindi language, culture and traditions instead of Punjabi. Later on, Muslim Punjabi’s did the same due to the influence of the Muslim League, dominated by the UP-ites Urdu speaking Muslim leaders and presence of UP-ite Muslims in Punjab.

As a consequence of preferring Hindi language, culture and traditions by Hindu Punjabi’s and Urdu language, culture and traditions by Muslim Punjabi’s. The characteristics of assimilation to accomplish the sociological instinct started to switch from “Race to Religion” and “A Great Nation of Sub-Continent Got Divided and Get Emerged into Muslim and Hindu States” as well as, started receiving the reward of hate and regret from every honorable nation, in addition to the humiliation, loathing and abuse from Hindi and Urdu speaking persons. This is the punishment of Punjabi’s for not respecting their motherland, language, culture and traditions. Especially, the Punjabi has migrated from the Indian side of Punjab to Pakistan were already under the domination of Urdu language, Gunga Jumna culture and UP-ite traditions. Therefore, they accepted and owned the hegemony of Urdu language, Gunga Jumna culture and UP-ite traditions by surrendering the Punjabi language, culture and traditions. In addition, they also facilitated and supported the UP-ites to dominate Urdu language, Gunga Jumna culture and UP-ite traditions by means of suppressing and eliminating the languages, cultures and traditions of original and actual entities of Pakistan i.e. Sindhi’s, Balochi’s, Pukhtoon’s and Punjabi’s (due to many factors).

Hence, time has proved that; independence of Pakistan at the cost of splitting up Punjab with the blood of 2 million Punjabi’s. Furthermore, lending support to UP-ites for domination of Urdu language, Gunga Jumna culture and UP-ite traditions by means of suppressing and eliminating the languages, cultures and traditions of original and actual entities of Pakistan i.e. Sindhi, Baloch, Pukhtoon and Punjabi. In conjunction with, the hegemony of UP-ite Muhajir's in national and foreign affairs bureaucracy, military and civil establishment, skilled and technical professions, politics and media organizations, was a blunder by the Punjabi's due to political immaturity, irresponsibility and pettiness.

Punjab and Punjabis on Path of Disintegration.


Pakistan is a State of four lands Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. It is a Nation of four Nationalities viz. Punjabis, Sindhis, Pukhtoon’s, and Balochis. Population of Pakistan nationality-wise comprises as; Punjabis (44.15%) 78.7 millionPukhtoon’s (15.42%) 27.2 million, Sindhis (14.1%) 24.8 million, Saraikis (10.53%) 14.8 million, Muhajir’s (7.57%) 13.3 million, Balochis (3.57%) 6.3 million and Others (4.66%) 11.1 million.

Even though in Pakistan, 97% Punjabis, Pukhtoon’s, Sindhis, Balochis and Muhajir’s are Muslim, but in matter of fact, excluding Punjab, in all the parts of Pakistan, politics is ethnic and somewhat anti Punjabi and Punjab. At present Punjabis are under abomination, loathing and hate in Karachi by Muhajir’s, in Sindh by Sindhis, in Baluchistan by Balochis and in Pakhtoonkhwa by Pukhtoon’s.

In Punjab, political trends follow perceptions of clans and community emotions. In the result Punjab and Punjabis are in process of disintegration into PothohariHindko, Jhangochi / Rachnavi/ Changvi or Chenavari, Shahpuri, Dhani, Saraiki/Multani, Malwi, Doabi, Pwadhi and Dogri dialect clans and  degenerating into Aheers, Arains, Awans, Dogars, Gakhars, Gujjars, Jats, Kambohs, Khokhars, Mughals, Rajputs, Sheikhs, Syeds etc communities.

In united India all the Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Christian Punjabis were a nation because of common land, language, culture, traditions, race, etc. The religion was a personal subject whereas; clans and communities were the institutions for social interaction and charity work.

Punjab was a secular region and Punjabi was a respectable and honorable language, culture and nation in India, but in 19th century due to politics of congress dominated by Hindi speaking leaders. Hindu Punjabis started preferring Hindi language, culture and traditions instead of Punjabi. Later on, Muslim Punjabis did the same due to influence of Muslim League, dominated by Urdu speaking Muslim leaders.

Because of preferring the Hindi language, culture and traditions by Hindu Punjabis and Urdu language, culture and traditions by Muslim Punjabis, A Great Nation Got Divided by the Clans of Same Nation” and started  receiving the reward of hate and regret by every honorable nation, even from Hindi and Urdu speaking persons. This is the punishment for Punjabis for not respecting their mother land, language, culture and traditions.

Atmosphere of Punjab and mind set of Punjabis are still following the path of national breakdown , disintegration and degeneration by avoiding the rules of nature, principals of sociology and procedures of politics for the grooming of great nations. Accordingly common land, language, culture and traditions are counted as the basic binding forces for assembling the clans and communities to outward appearance of a nation.

Yet Punjabis don’t have the respect, regard and honor for their mother land language, culture and traditions. Therefore, the basic and vital binding force for Punjab and Punjabis, i.e.; Punjabi language is not the official and educational language of Punjab because of that, Punjab and Punjabis are on way of breakdown into MajhiSaraikiJangli, Shahpuri, Dhani, PothohariHindko etc dialects leading towards the disintegration into Siraiki v/s Derewali v/s Thalochi v/s Multani v/s Riasuti v/s Jangli v/s Mianwali v/s Hindkowan v/s Kashmiri v/s Pothari v/s Majhi, Malwi, Doabi, Pwadhi etc clans and conflict along with degeneration into Aheers v/s Arains v/s Awans v/s Dogars v/s Gakhars v/s Gujjars v/s Jats v/s Kambohs v/s Khokhars v/s Mughals v/s Rajputs v/s Sheikhs v/s  Syeds etc communities and clashes.

In matter of fact, the dialects spoken in different regions of Punjab have a common vocabulary and a shared heritage. All Punjabi clans and communities are part and parasol of “Great Punjab”. “The Land of Five Rivers” with the back ground of five thousand years of historical heritage, land, language, culture, traditions and civilization called as; “Indus Valley Civilization”. Therefore, in Non-Punjabi Nations all dialects, clans and communities of Punjab are identified, recognized and treated as Punjabis.

It is in best interest of Punjab and Punjabis to adopt the “Punjabi Culture and Traditions” along with “Punjabi Language” at official and educational level for assimilation of different clans of Punjabis and to unite the Punjab for their future affluence, prosperity, wealth and most important for respect, regard and honor of Punjab and Punjabis.

Is it not logical that; if a nation doesn’t have the respect, regard and honor for their own land, language, culture and traditions then that nation will not face the process of breakdown, disintegration and degeneration?

Is it not logical that; if a nation doesn’t have the respect, regard and honor for their own land, language, culture and traditions then how some other nation may hope the same from that nation? In the past, same misshape was experienced by Bengalis and at present the interaction and relationship is complex with Sindhis, Pukhtoon’s and Balochis…. The Nations… have great respect, regard and honor for their own land, language, culture and traditions.

Why Punjabi's are Confused Persons?

It is a renowned formula that if a person is determent about his/her identity than he/she is a graceful personality but if a person is not determent about his/her identity than he/she is a confused person. Confused person can never be a graceful personality.



Same is with Urdu Speaking Punjabis in Pakistan. Their subconscious is Punjabi but due to status of Urdu as an official and educational language, because of Urdu atmosphere and need for their business necessities, consciously they try to adjust themselves with the Urdu atmosphere, therefore, they always remain confused and if you talk with them in Urdu, due to their subconscious activation of instinct, they start responding in Punjabi and if you talk with them in Urdu, due to their conscious motivation for business, they start responding in Urdu.

Punjabi People and Initiation of Punjabi Nationalism.

Panjabi people are a clan of Indo-Aryan peoples, originating from the Punjab, found between eastern Pakistan and northern India. Punjab literally means the land of five waters. Punjab is often referred to as the breadbasket in both Pakistan and India. The pinnacle of the power for any local Punjabi population came in the later part of the 18th century with initiation of Punjabi nationalism, when Sikh Empire with Secular Punjabi Rule was established by the Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who conquered almost whole of Kashmir along with modern day Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and annexed it into Greater Punjab region.

 The act of uniting by natural affinity and attraction of the various tribes, castes and the inhabitants of the Punjab into a broader common "Punjabi" identity initiated from the onset of the 18th century CE. Prior to initiation of Punjabi Nationalism, the sense and perception of a common "Punjabi" ethno-cultural identity and community did not exist, even though the majority of the various communities of the Punjab had long shared linguistic, cultural and racial commonalities.

 Traditionally, Punjabi identity is primarily linguistic, geographical and cultural. Punjabi identity is independent of race, color, creed or religion, and refers to those for whom the Punjabi language(s) is the first language or recognizable language and those who reside in the Punjab region and associate themselves with Punjabi Nation. Integration and assimilation are important parts of Punjabi culture, since Punjabi identity is not based tribal connections or race. More or less all Punjabis share the same cultural background.

 Traditionally, the Punjabi nation was a heterogeneous group and was subdivided into a number of clans called Biradari (literally meaning "Brotherhood") or Tribes, with each person bound to a clan. However, Punjabi identity also included those who did not belong to any of the historical tribes of Punjab. With the passage of time tribal structures are coming to an end and are being replaced with more cohesive and holistic society. That is why community building and group cohesiveness form the new pillars of Punjabi society due to initiation of Punjabi nationalism.

 In Pakistan, Punjabis constitute the largest ethnic group, comprising more than 60% of the total population of the country. They reside predominantly in the province of Punjab, neighbouring Azad Kashmir in the region of Jammu and Kashmir, in Islamabad Capital Territory and KPK. Punjabis are also found in large communities in rural Sind and in the largest city of Pakistan, Karachi.

 In India, Punjabis represent 2.85% of the population. The majority of Punjabi-speaking people in India, can be found in the Indian states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, as well as in Delhi and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Large communities of Punjabis are also found in the Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir and the states of Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.

پاکستان کے قیام کے وقت جس طرح پنجاب کو مسلم پنجاب اور نان مسلم پنجاب میں تقسیم کیا گیا اسی طرح یوپی ' سی پی کے مسلمانوں کو چاھیئے تھا کہ یوپی اور سی پی کے علاقوں کو بھی مسلم یوپی ' سی پی اور نان مسلم یوپی ' سی پی میں تقسیم کرواتے لیکن یوپی ' سی پی کے مسلمانوں نے مشرقی پنجاب  کا پڑوسی ھونے کا فائدہ اٹھایا اور مشرقی پنجاب سے مغربی پنجاب کی طرف نقل مکانی کرنے والے مسلمان پنجابیوں کی آڑ لے کر اور مسلم پنجابیوں کو مھاجر قرار دے کر خود بھی مھاجر بن کر پنجاب اور نسدھ کے بڑے بڑے شہروں ' پاکستان کی حکومت '  پاکستان کی سیاست ' پاکستان کی صحافت ' سرکاری نوکریوں ' زمینوں ' جائیدادوں پر قبضہ کر لیا۔

یوپی ' سی پی کے مسلمانوں نے مشرقی پنجاب کے مسلم پنجابیوں کو مھاجر قرار دے کر اور خود بھی مھاجر بن کر پاکستان میں خوب فائدہ اٹھایا۔ حالانکہ مسلمان پنجابیوں کو اپنے ھی دیش میں ' مشرقی پنجاب سے مغربی پنجاب کی طرف نقل مکانی کرنے کی بنیاد پر (Internaly displaced Punjabi's) کہا جاسکتا ھے لیکن مھاجر نہیں۔ مھاجر وہ ھوتے ھیں جو اپنی زمین سے پناہ کی خاطر کسی اور قوم کی زمین میں جا بسیں۔

پاکستان کے قیام کے وقت یا پاکستان کے قیام کے بعد بھی جو مسلمان یوپی ' سی پی سے آکر پنجاب اور پاکستان کے دیگر علاقوں میں پناھگزیر ھوگئے انکی قانونی حیثیت پاکستان کے شہری کی نہیں ھے کیونکہ ابھی تک انہوں نے پاکستان کے "سٹیزن شپ ایکٹ" کے تحت پاکستان کی شہریت نہیں لی۔ بلکہ ابھی تک انکو اقوام متحدہ کے "مھاجرین کے چارٹر" کے تحت ھندوستانی مھاجرین قرار نہیں دیا گیا ' اس کا مطلب ھے کہ ھندوستان سے آکر پنجاب اور پاکستان کے دیگر علاقوں میں رھائش اختیار کرنے والے یوپی اور سی پی کے لوگ ابھی تک غیر قانونی مھاجرین ھیں؟

Some Punjabi's Are Also Enemies of Punjab Language.

 In Punjab, non-educated, agriculture related and rural residents speaks Punjabi, owns Punjabi culture and follow Punjabi traditions but majority of elite class, government servants and urban residents, do not have respect, regard and honor for their motherland language, culture and traditions. Therefore, the basic assembling and vital binding force for Punjab and Punjabi nation, i.e. Punjabi language is not an official and educational language of Punjab.

Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabi Nationalism.

Punjabi is the 9th most spoken languages and nation of the world and the 3rd biggest nation of South AsiaPunjab is the homeland of Great Punjabi Nation. Yet, socially and politically Punjabi is a depressed and deprived nation due to the hegemony of Urdu and Hindi language, Gunga Jumna culture, supremacy of UP-ites and UP-ite mindsets in policy making and decision taking of national affairs and foreign relationship since 1849.

After an era of Ranjeet Singh, during the rule of the British Empire in Punjab, British rulers imposed martial law in Punjab. To govern Punjab and to switch over the characteristics of assimilation of Muslim Punjabi and Hindu Punjabi from “Nation to Religion”, British Empire brought Urdu-speaking Muslim and Hindi-speaking Hindu Bureaucracy, Establishment, Teachers, Mullah’s and Pundit’s from UP to Punjab. As a result, Punjabi nation became a socially and politically depressed and deprived nation due to the hegemony of Urdu and Hindi language, Gunga Jumna culture and UP-ite traditions. It resulted supremacy of UP-ites and UP-ite mindsets in policy making and decision taking in national affairs and foreign relationship, managed, motivated and sponsored by the British rulers to eliminate the Muslim, Sikh and Hindu Punjabi’s into different religions and languages to secure their rule over last captured land and martial race of Sub-Continent.

However, due to the struggle of nationalist Punjabi’s during British rule in India, Muslim, Hindu and Sikh Punjabi’s were still a nation because of common land, language, culture and traditions. The religion was a personal subject of faith in the moral character building and spiritual development, although, religious dissimilarity was a natural reality, however, clans moreover, communities were the institutions for social interaction and charity work. Sikh Punjabi's are exclusive Punjabi's by the virtue of the Nation, Land and Religion, but position of Muslim Punjabi and Hindu Punjabi is different from Sikh Punjabi.

Muslim Punjabi's are assimilated with Non-Punjabi Muslims by virtue of Religion likewise Hindu Punjabis are assembled with Non-Punjabi Hindus.

These factors are more concerned for the revival of “Secular Punjabi nationalism”.

Until clarification of doubts from the end of Indian Punjabi's, the Pakistani Punjabi's will remain bifurcated by hanging in “Punjabi Nationalism” and “Muslim Punjabi Nationalism”.

Punjabi Nationalism will lead the Muslim Punjabi's towards assimilation with Non-Muslim Punjabi's i.e. Sikh Punjabi's, Christian Punjabi's and Hindu Punjabi's. But, the Muslim Punjabi Nationalism will lead the Pakistani Punjabi's towards the assimilation with Non-Punjabi Muslim nations.

As for, matter of land is concerned both Muslim and Sikh Punjabi's have an entitlement of their lands in shape of Punjab in Pakistan and Punjab in India, whereas, Hindu Punjabi's are scattered in all over the India and they do not have an interest in particular land, while, Muslim Punjabi's and Sikh Punjabi's have strong binding and emotional attachment to their own lands.

As for, matter of language is concerned, both Muslim Punjabi's and Hindu Punjabi's have the same type of mindset, if Muslim Punjabi's are inclined towards the Urdu language for assimilation with Non-Punjabi Muslim Pakistanis, likewise, Hindu Punjabi's also have the inclination towards Hindi to assimilate themselves with Non-Punjabi Hindus.

From the prospect of governance and administrative authorities, as compare to Sikh Punjabi's and Hindu Punjabi's of India, Muslim Punjabi's of Pakistan are in a better position. But, due to political immaturity, incompetence and inefficiency, Pakistani Muslim Punjabi had subordinating role in politics and media organizations. However, now Punjabi's are moving towards political maturity, competency and efficiency, along with control on media organizations. However, because of 60% population of Pakistan, higher education and technical skills, the Punjabi domination is visible in military, national and foreign affairs bureaucracy, civil establishment, technical professions, agriculture sector, livestock sector, trade sector and industrial sector of Pakistan.

In Pakistan, Muslim Punjabi's have very close relationship with the Christian Punjabi's, they are treated as Punjabi by the Punjabi Muslims instead of treating them as Christian.

Due to the strong ties of Sikh Punjabi's with Punjabi language, culture, traditions along with owning the Punjabi land and because of a bordering neighbor, the Muslim Punjabi's have great respect and regard for the Sikh Punjabi's.

As for Hindu Punjabi's are concerned; the assimilation of Muslim Punjabi's with Hindu Punjabi's seems very difficult because of the inclination of Hindu Punjabi's towards Hindi language and priority towards Hindi culture and traditions instead of Punjabi language, culture, traditions and not having the ownership of Punjabi land.

In Pakistan, Muslim Punjabi's are on the path of “Muslim Punjabi nationalism”, for the success, they only need to quit the unnecessary sponsorship to the Urdu language, Gunga Jumna culture, UP-ite traditions.

As for Indian Punjabi's i.e. Sikh Punjabi's and Hindu Punjabi's are concerned, because of own land, strong binding with Punjabi culture, tradition and being a bordering nation of Muslim Punjabi's, the mutual interaction and cooperation is expected between Muslim Punjabi's and Sikh Punjabi's, in future, with the dissimilarity of religion but as for Hindu Punjabi's are concerned;

1. Will they quit the Hindi language, culture and traditions? (Muslim Punjabi's are in struggle to quit the Urdu language, culture and traditions)

2. Will they prefer the Punjabi culture and traditions upon Hindi culture and traditions?

3. Will they assimilate themselves with Punjabi Sikhs? (Assimilation of Muslim Punjabi's is expected with Sikh Punjabi's?

4. Will they assimilate themselves with Punjabi Christians?
(Assimilation of Muslim Punjabi is already increasing day by day with Christians Punjabi's of Pakistan?
